In early 2002 The TCG SA was invited to join the Communications Alliance [ACIF] Consumer Council.  ACIF changed to Communications Alliance CA after a merger.  Our organisation’s membership of the CA Consumer Council was continuous until Communications Alliance disbanded both the Consumer and Disability Councils in March 2008 thus severing any direct consumer consultation.

In late 2009 TCG SA was fortunate to have a member representation elected to the newly formed, ACCAN [Australian Communications Consumer Action Network] [formerly CTN] Standing Advisory Committee Consumer Affairs, SACCA.  This provides TCG SA members with direct access to this Government funded communications consumer watchdog.
