Well recently then Government released the Do Not Call Register. But the question is, is it realy stopping the calls we most hate?
There is no doubt that it has had a huge take up, so far over 1 million number have already been registered. But educational institutions, religious organisations, political parties, charities and market research calls are still permitted.
From my perspective, the above categories are the phones calls I realy don’t want to receive. I think it should be a “no, means no” mentality, no one should be exempt from the rule (baring emergency services of course). Sure I can understand how this could hurt many charities avenues for receiving donations, but if people don’t want to be hassled their rights should be respected.
What do you think?
